What is Ion Exchange Resin
This is one of the most used process to reduce water hardness, what they don't tell you is that in the process they remove magnesium (this is good for your body) and they add sodium to the water (which is very bad for your body)
This method is mostly preferred by big corporations because is easy and cheap
How does it work?
The resin is made of a polymer that binds positively charged ions. The polymer is designed to bind to calcium and magnesium more strongly than to sodium.
When hard water flows past this resin, the calcium and magnesium ions in your water will bind to the polymer, releasing the sodium into the water. The water flowing out is then softer but contains more sodium instead.

100% Garbage...Do not buy this product. I live in Show Low Arizona. Using tap water along with this so-called Filter, I am still getting 218 PPM which tells me that this pitcher's water is the same from the tap.

Great tasting water and the ph level of the water is surreal. I felt the benefits instantly. On the first day, I noticed significantly more energy, I was in a better mood, could concentrate more easily, and I assume the effects will compound over time through use of this pitcher.They even throw in extra components incase something breaks. I tested the brita water with the accompanying testing kit, and the water turned yellow while the aquanatur water turned purple with a few ph testing drops added. We have since stored the Brita in the basement as we will be using this pitcher from now on. The price is well worth it.It also filters water at relatively the same rate of speed as a Brita filter. The water tastes clean and refreshing. I only wish I made the switch sooner.

Je suis ravie de cette carafe, mon eau du robinet a un gout désagréable et après la filtration, l'eau est excellente, elle a un vrai gout neutre.J'ai fait les mesures et son PH est bien alcalin après la filtration.J'ai de l'arthrose et je dois avoir une alimentation alcalinisante, j'ai donc revue mon alimentation et cette eau m'aide beaucoup afin de purifier on organisme qui en a bien besoin.Je l'utilise déjà depuis plus d'1 an et c'est ma 2iéme commande pour une autre habitation.J'ai contacté le vendeur ici sur le site car j'avais une question et il m'a appelé 15 minutes plus tard sur mon portable pour un échange en direct, le SAV est donc excellent et la personne était très agréable.Fini le port des lourdes bouteilles d'eau , un gout délicieux et une santé qui s'améliore...que demander de plus.A la base j'avais vu une vidéo d'une naturopathe qui conseillait cette carafe Alkanatur, et son explication m'avait convaincue, j'ai testé et je suis maintenant Fan

This really works to alkalize your body. Additionally, and, equally important, this gem filters out fluoride, microplastics and more. The shape of the container is perfect and doesn’t take up as much room as a conventional water pitcher. Very easy to fill. Water filters through quickly, not much of a wait for fresh water, once the container is filled. Disassembly not required; just open the attached lid and fill with water. So convenient. Ph strips included. I have compared the results with my own “enzymatic” brand ph strips and this is legit. I have to recommend this for everyone. Keeping your body alkaline, is key to supporting a disease free body.

So I tested my water at home and it ranged from 6.5-7.0. After I poured it into my alkanatur pitcher it went to a 8.5! The water is smooth and refreshing. I also pour my spring water in my pitcher as well and results are fantastic! Health is wealth take care of yourself!!

I found out about Alkanatur through my nutritionist, with the intention of improving the quality of the water I was drinking, and I have noticed a big difference. The taste of the water is quite neutral and pleasant. The water tastes cleaner. To be a jar, it removes many more toxins than other brands. The only thing is that you have to be aware of the times and the use, in order to be able to change the filter at the correct time.

Tras unos seis meses usando esta jarra paso a contar mi experiencia con ella.Soy una persona que cada vez le da mas importancia a que los productos de plastico esten libres de toxicos y el principal motivo porque la compre fue ese, pero tiene muchos mas aspectos muy positivos que paso a describir.-La jarra esteticamente es bonita,aunque la verdad es que para mi no tenia importancia ese aspecto a la hora de comprarla,pero se agardece que sea bonita.-El ritmo de filtrado es bueno.-Esta libre de BPAs ( toxicos) y eso es fundamental.-He hecho varias veces la prueba del PH y siendo totalmente sincero si que lo aumenta pero menos de lo que esperaba,en mi caso que vivo en guipuzcoa el agua del grifo sin filtrar me daba un valor de 7 y una vez filtrada el agua su ph aumenta hasta 8, las 5 veces que he realizado la prueba ha salido igual.-Alcaliniza el agua y la depura totalmente, otro gran punto a su favor.-Pero para mi lo mejor que tiene esta jarra es el sabor con el que sale el agua filtrada,desde el primer vaso filtrado que bebes te das cuenta de que el agua sabe simplemente a limpia ,ni rastro de cloro,ni metales ,ni nada que se le parezca.He usado durante muchos años una jarra muy famosa que casi todo el mundo usa, y el sabor del agua filtrada ni se le acerca a esta jarra de alkanatur.-En el paquete junto a la jarra viene una botella de plastico tambien libre de BPAs para que la utilices como mejor te convenga.-Por ponerle un pero pues su precio,pero una vez pruebas la limpieza de su agua te olvidas de lo que vale la jarra y sus flitros.En definitiva encantadisimo con esta jarra y con sus filtros.......por fin agua limpia.
