Your cart is empty.All American Drill Bushing are made in the USA from steel obtained from a domestic steel foundry. Our standard bushings are made of C1144 and heat treated to Rockwell C62-64. Concentricity is held at 0 to .0003 T.I.R maximum for ID sizes of 1/8 to ½ and 0 to .0005 T.I.R Max for any other size. A blended Radius on the drill entrance improves drill entry and alignment which prevents tool wear and breakage. All of our products are free of conflict materials of any kind and conform to Reach.

I am helping my son with an upgrade to the 1960's vintage Ludwig Be-Bop horizontal drum lugs. The original Ludwig design failed when drummers tightened up the drum heads on the 4" tall Be-Bop drum shells. The original pot metal lugs could not withstand the torsional stress applied to the horizontal drum lug bosses, and in conjunction with my son, we are making an upgrade to the original Ludwig design that will not fail when the modern plastic drum heads are tightened up. This upgrade will be totally transparent to the original Be-Bop drums, and it will allow owners of vintage Ludwig Be-Bop drums to play them with confidence knowing that they will not fail when the drum heads are tightened up, like the original design did in the 1960's.
