Worked perfect after the stock steering bearings on my F650GS twin became worn and would try to stick in center. This got to the point were it would make it difficult to balance when riding slow. The All Balls Racing bearings were a perfect fit and they come with seals that are far superior to the stock ones that I took off. Remember to pack these with grease before installing them.Tip: Put the races in the freeze for a few hours before you install them. You can also warm up the lower bearing in the oven for a little while. These temperature differences make things easier to install as they temporarily open up tolerances a little.

Headset bearings are often overlooked and replacing them with the quality set is important I highly recommend this and I'll be using it as a standard replacement and all the bikes I servers

These are excellent and so much cheaper than the original BMW parts, I pressed these parts on because one of the the benefits of the All Balls bearings is the uprated seal that keeps the grease in place. Using heat may damage it.For knowing how to remove the old bearings among may other things! Chris R. Harris ... a BMW YouTube sensation has some great videos on all things BMW bikes.I used a Harbor Freight bearing puller to remove the inner from the triple tree,The top inner use a punch in the 2 small holes to knock it out.For the outers the lower is easy with a long drift to knock it out.The top outer is more difficult, you need to use the small gap between the bearing and the frame, I put a flat screwdriver in the groove from the top and set a 1" dowel from the bottom and hammered it on all sides and effectively walked it out! I hope this helps!
