No more stuffing it back in the box & untangling it back out the following year! It is still annoying to figure out where you put the lights through which can only be solved by buying a pre-lit tree BUT this works great for storing!

This is a simple design but effective in coiling up your long cable or cord. I used it to coil up my vacuum machine power cable, my lawn mower power cable when in storage. These are just great value for money.

First, I am not using these to wind lights or electrical equipment. I’m using it for stunt kite lines. And for that purpose, it’s pretty good. They are slightly larger than my preference, and not as maneuverable as I would like; but that is because you need to wind two lines at once, rather quickly, and may be concerned about a kite at the other end becoming wayward in a breeze. The winder does have convenient slots that are good for setting the handle end of kite line. At the completion of the task they can also be used to tuck away the sleeved end. I found the size adequate for neatly winding 2 120 foot lengths of 300 pound Spectra line.
