Husband used in his competition and it worked well. He's happy with it

The Good- Large spent hull capacity, molded shell box holder and decent elastic loops for spares. The Bad- Spent hull bag barely opens unless you bend the “spring steel band”- then the end of the band wears a hole thru the fabric. After that it’s useless. Only a month of competition use. Spring hinge design works better for longer.

The magnetic strip that holds the top closed is too stiff. I had to bend it to be able to put my spent shells in without using both hands. My main complaint is the four elastic spare shell loops. They are so loose the shells fall out. I end up using my "spare" shells at station 1 so I don't lose them and my "spare" shells are in the box. If you shoot something smaller that 12ga there's no way the shells will stay in.The mesh pouch for spent shells is lightweight, but durable so far. I can shoot 4 rounds of skeet before emptying it and it's still not full.Since I adjusted the magnet tension, and after I fix the spare shell holders, it will work well. I just shouldn't have to do that much work just to make it do what it's supposed to.

Started with a Browning vest no issue but did not have zipper bottomNext I tried a Browning belt pouch but loose fitting so your armor box was not tight. This unit is perfect for me. Belt fit (should come with a belt but I used my previous pouches belt)and the ammo box sleeve is exact size and sturdy. Shooting trap I like to feel each round and know haw many more shots I have at the station.Shell catcher is plenty big if not even too large but it works. Best part is the zipper bottom to empty spent shells.Very happy...

Well, this hull bag works nice. Can easily hold 100 hulls if you don't mind the weight. The only gripe I have with it is that they focused too much on it staying closed. It has a magnet that keep the bag shut once you shut it. But how do you keep it open during a round of trap? I use the first hull as a block to keep it open so other hulls can just be dropped in but it shouldn't be that complicated, really.
