Silicone treated thing is kinda gimiky. Dont know what it is but there's not much special about it. Its a gun sockIt has drawstring for some reasonIt has nice little tags at the top where you can write whats in it if youre planing to store alot of firearm like thisDespite the other crap its a good sock for a good price, id buy it again

I have two of these to protect my SKS and GSG 15 rifles. They keep them safe from ambient hazards, scratches or bumps as the material is quite thick. It's a tight fit over the pistol grip on the GSG 15 though and I'm not sure if it would fit at all If I had a scope on it. It works better with non-tactical rifles like my SKS and the length is great. Would purchase again.

This is a great product at a great price. Thick protection for under $8. The one I got is a cotton/polyester blend, thick and reasonably stretchy. Other colors may be entirely different. Yes, its made in China although this company makes several of their other socks in the USA. These are designed for storage, in a safe or hard case. If its on a home defense weapon kept under the bed, these will slow you down, a lot; especially if you have big sights or optics to snag.The sock itself is thick and provides a good cushion and smells like it is impregnated with Silicon (as advertised) or something. I always wipe my guns down with a lightly oiled rag anyway but the extra protection can't hurt. I like that I can move my guns around now without leaving fingerprints or cringing when I let one fall over and it bangs into one of its safe mates. For less than $8 I don't think you can go wrong; just be realistic about what it is advertised to do and use a little common sense and you should be well pleased.

These fit over any of my guns I bought 3 and will buy 4 more I have a xcr-m with scope and this thing slid over it, finally a product that fits the description.

I love these things! I keep all my rifles in Allen Tactical Gun Condoms while stored. They eliminate scratches and dings while trying to weasel your favourite rifle out of your crowded gun safe. (13 rifles comfortably stored in picture)

The picture is worth a thousand words - most description are poo poo but this one is on the mark. For a measly 12 loons I got a knitted gun sock which is a far cry from the more expensive ones which don't fit. I got the larger 47 incher and it could easily accept my AR which has a charging handle and pistol grip. Will be getting more of these to protect my other toys in the cabinet.

The 47" Tactical Gun Sock works very well on my Guns. It covers the scope, long pistol grip,and the folded Bipod. You have to take your time with all the curves and projections of course but it fits well. I even have one on a scoped 91/30 Mosin Nagant and it covers it. The very end is slightly angled and flat and that's where I Label each one so I'll know whats in each sock. Very sturdy yet stretches well and thick enough for protectionfrom most common bumps.I have several and will buy some more. Also a great way to organize your guns by color code- Black, Grey. I would highly recommend this product. Purchased "New" thru Amazon (Tactical and Grey Gun Sock)and many other items. I like saving money on the shipping which is where some Co.'s take advantage of smaller sales.
