This rest is nicely weighted and has good texture to stop it from slipping on a windowsill. The materials are thick and durable, and the stitching is very well done. I'm sure this will hold up to a decent bit of abuse.I have been using this on one of my windows facing my backyard, for use with my air rifle. Great for plinking targets to practice at home, and will come in handy if an unwanted critter starts becoming a problem.

This review is for Allen Company X-Focus Filled Window Mount Shooting Rest, Coyote/BlackNice shooting rest - as stated, perfectly sized for shooting over a fence rail or other narrow ledge. Protects the ledge, the gun, and greatly improved accuracy.

Got this window mount shooting rest to use from a blind and when I need something steady for sighting in a scope. It's lightweight and easy to toss in with the rest of my gear. The outer material feels tough and should hold up to some wear and tear. The stitching looks solid too.I like that it's pre-filled and ready to go. The bead fill gives just enough flexibility to adjust your setup while still holding steady. The tacky material on the cradle and bottom is a nice touch. It helps keep things in place, even on smoother surfaces. My rifle settled in well and didn’t slide around which is exactly what I was hoping for. Some other folks mentioned it being a little smaller than they expected and that’s fair. It’s not a full bench rest or anything like that—it’s compact and meant for quick setup. I wouldn't use this as my only shooting platform for long sessions at the range, but for field use or when you need a reliable rest for zeroing in a scope, it works just fine.So far so good. If I run into any issues with long-term use or the fill breaking down, I’ll update my review. But as of now, it’s a handy piece of gear that does what it promises.

This is much smaller than you think it will be. The photo looks like it is propped up on the end of a 2x4, and that's really how small it is. It isn't something you will want to do bench shooting or even lots of shooting. But, it is incredibly portable and useful in the field. If you are hunting in any sort of farmland area or areas with fencing, this can be a really useful tool for steady shots while still hunting. You can throw this on top of a fence post or even fencing cable and help steady your shot. It is super light and compact. I didn't find it to be very loud unless you were actively trying to manipulate the shape of it, so I wouldn't be concerned about noise. Very cost effective way to have steadier, more accurate shots in the field.

I've found this to be quite handy for doing target shooting and made it easier for me to sight in my new scope.I've found that this works almost as well just sitting on a table as it does draped over something like a fence. the grippy material does a good job of keeping anything from sliding around, and it has enough heft to do it's job without being particularly heavy. The only con I really have so far is that the grippy material can get pretty hot if it's out in the sun for a while, but this isn't particularly surprising information.I'm happy I got this and I'm sure I'll get a ton of use out of it, so I'd say it's a great buy if you're considering it.

Not bad for the price. It gets the job done, but for just a few bucks more, there's better out there.
