Taking it out of the box, I noticed the zipper was broken. There is a label that states "This label at foot of bed". The exact same label is both at the head and foot. Cover was dirty with black hair on it. Customer service refunded the full purchase price.

New mattress and I want to keep it from getting dust mites. (Serious allergy). I was concerned about fit but EASY to get on. My mattress was at the exact top of the range for height and not a bit of trouble. Appreciate how far around the zipper goes, as well. Well thought out and easier to get on by myself than my old bed combo. Glad I did my research and didn’t choose on price alone!

I usually wash everything before I use it, but I don’t recommend washing this. Thank heavens I washed the full size encasement first, as the king size would have been murder! Full size retained water (well, it said it was water resistant or water proof) and I had to run it through the spin cycle twice, and through the dryer twice. Zips fine, didn’t tear getting on. Don’t plan on taking it off!

I did a lot of research, and settled on this protector for my new mattress. My allergies have been better since getting it, but I put this on a new mattress, so I can't say much about that feature for sure.It's a little pricey, but I feel it was worth the money. There's no trapped air or loud crinkling, so it's easy to forget it's even there. Only difference I noticed at all was that it disguises the weird texture on the top of my mattress. It feels smoother now and also looks better with white sheets!I also like the way the zipper works, and thought it was surprisingly easy to put on. I was able to put it on by myself with only a little difficulty, so I think putting it on with help would be a breeze. It also fits my mattress VERY well. That's a point in it's favor, but make sure you read the dimensions carefully so that you know it will fit. I think you would need to size up if you wanted a mattress topper in there too, there really isn't any extra room.

It definitely does it’s job of keeping the mattress protected but omg I was so hot sleeping with this thing on my mattress. I’d rather have bugs.

Very pleased! Imprest with the quality, easy to install with three sided zipper. Never throw away a mattress again in a city (harrisburg, PA) INFESTED with bed bugs. Plus any one with a bed bug problem, one word Diatomaceous Earth! I know thats two words.
