Worked Great !I was looking for something to save the paint on the edge of my doors. My garage is somewhat small and sometimes if not careful, my door would hit something while opening. These have a nice carbon fiber look and have a bit of glue inside to keep them in place.I think they look nice and was easy to install. The 10 feet of material in the package should do 4 doors on most autos.5 Stars

It was one of the easiest upgrades I’ve done. You just clean the edge, press it on, and it sticks tight, no glue mess or tools needed. It bends around the curves of the door nicely and gives it a clean, sporty look. What I liked most was how secure it felt once on. I’ve had edge protectors before that peeled off, but this one has solid built-in adhesive and hasn’t budged. It looks sharp, adds a little flair, and actually helps when parking in tight spots where your door might tap something.

I didn’t use this trim for its intended use. Long story short: I’m upgrading my speakers, and they’re bigger, had to cut my door panels and I happen to be adding some carbon fiber in the cabin’s trim. So I used this trim/guard around the cut of the door panels I made to fit the new speakers and it looks fantastic. It almost looks like it came from the factory that way. Plus it’s bendable and easy to cut. It just works flawlessly and looks great.

I didn't use this for it's intended use for cars/trucks, but I used it for my dumbbell racks. My dumbbell racks have a metal lip to hold the dumbbells in place and this metal lip can chew up the dumbbell rubber if the dumbbell isn't placed onto the rack correctly.I placed this edge trim over the metal lip and the carbon fiber not only looks good, but helps to prevent the metal edge from tearing up my dumbbells. The trim was very easy to install and I really like the fact that the adhesive is already placed inside of the molding. The trim feels very secure and the adhesive holds the trim in place perfectly. I liked this trim so much, I ended up buying 3 extra packs for lining other equipment in my gym.Highly recommend this product and it's a bonus that it's made in America!!

This edge trim works pretty well if you use it as intended on door edges. The trim comes coiled up in the package and then wants to stay in its coiled position. It took a little twisting and manipulation to get it installed correctly but wasn't too hard. Use of a heat gun will help it straighten up. I tried to use a piece to wrap around a hole I had cut in some plastic. The edging was not flexible enough to wrap the radius that I had cut. It really didn't want to be bent around an inside corner, it just won't work that way. It comes with adhesive installed inside the trim, I can't comment on how long it will last.

This is a hard rubber that is flexible to bend right into place around the edge of the door. It comes with alcohol wipes to be sure the area is clean and dry before placement. The adhesive is inside the rubber and non-messy as you barely can see up inside the rubber coil. It securely pushes on with your fingers and a hard thumb. It has to be applied in warm weather as the heat activates the adhesive. I believe it said 60 to 90 degrees F. It was 87 in the shade in Florida when I applied it and it was a super easy install. You could probably heat the coil with a blow dryer if it is winter just before applying. It looks sharp and does its job. Mine had been coming off and aggravating me for about a year of superglue and popping back off in a few months. It felt good to pull it off and toss it. This feels secure and I am unable to just push it back off this morning not using a lot of pressure or my thumbnail. It will not pop off though. Yea!I had plenty for 4 doors but only did my two front as my trim only goes halfway down and stops at the transition to the bottom.

I used this edge trim to cover a sharp edge on a rolling paper and plastic-dispensing cart that I had fabricated years ago. At one edge, I had tack-welded some sheet metal to a 1/8" thick by 1/2" side length of flat iron. The sheet metal side, no matter how much I ground and filed it, always remained sharper than I was comfortable with. This car-door trim edge worked out perfectly for protecting and hiding that problem and it looks great as well. It's super easy to install, despite the fact that the edge I was covering was wider than any car door edge I've ever seen, so at least customers can know that it's flexible enough to accommodate thicker material. Recommended.
