Great little starter grooming kit. The brush works awesome on our dogs undercoat, we get so much fur off! The clippers and file are just okay but I would buy for brush alone. Love it!

This All-in-One Pet Grooming Kit is great for all dog owners. I had the same nail clippers and file in the past so I know they work well it was just time to replace them. The clippers and file are easy to handle and work great just have patience with your dog and don’t cut too much only the tips then file. The real star of this kit is the brush.I have 3 dogs 2 of which have thick undercoats and shed a lot but this dog brush was a game changer, it was unexpectedly amazing for them. I’ve used standard brushes, furminators and the flat one with a bunch of tiny wires. They all work to one degree or another but this one gets the loose hair out that is under the hair. The results spoke for themselves, with very little effort I pulled a significant amount of loose hair from my dogs. They both felt better to my hands right away and the free-floating hair clouds that follow them around was nowhere in sight. I didn’t know I needed this brush but if you’ve found yourself struggling with the other brush’s give this a try it really gets the job done.

These are great tools for my dogs. They are of very good quality. The ergonomic handles make it so much easier with my arthritis. The Shepherd has a double coat, and this rake helps cut down on shedding massive amount of twice a year, and a lesser amount all year. She loves it when I use it. My little mixed breed dog isn’t as fond of it, but she accepts the nail clippers with far less fuss than my old pair. Anything that does that is a winner in my book. These deliver. When you have the right equipment the task is quicker, and quicker means less fuss and much easier. (Or less odious, depending on your past experience.)

The brush works well with my dog's coat and gets fur that'd take a lot longer to get with the other brush he'll let me use. The nail tools, though? Not so much. I used the clippers on a single nail, just to take a tiny bit off the end of a single nail to see how he handles it, and it split the nail. It wasn't too bad/didn't cause bleeding, but I don't want to use nail tools that can't get the job done the first time. As for the file, it's good for touching up a badly clipped one, but I think you'd want a sturdier file if using it as the primary tool... The file itself is pretty thin and prone to bending when you try to press down to apply pressure. It's useable but not the most efficient thing ever.

The brush absolutely pulls out undercoat and mats. I brushed my dog with it for 10 minutes straight, outside. Her coat felt thinner, which is good for these hot florida days. It also worked on ym cats, but may have been too tuggy for them. It still helped get a lot of undercoat though so yay.The clippers are a decent size, it's not time for me to clip nails so I haven't tried them yet.Not sure how I feel about a metal file, but I also personally hate using them on my own nails.

Nail clippers are sharp and precise, with a built-in safety guard that prevents over-cutting.Included nail file smooths rough edges quickly, and the de-matting comb works surprisingly well on tangles without pulling too much.Everything feels comfortable to hold.It’s a simple, gets the job done and makes home grooming much less stressful.

From the pictures, I was expecting a smaller clipper, more like what you would use on a cat or a puppy, but this one is properly sized for our adult dogs. The jury is still out on the mat cutter, and our dogs' nails are fairly small, so we never actually need to file them, thus the file isn't going to get a lot of use. The clippers, however, work as advertised and are worth keeping. My only issue with them is the guard on the blades. I know that this is there to keep an inexperienced dog owner from cutting too far down on the nails, and the guard is easily rotated out of the way for more experienced users, but it simply adds bulk and distraction to the cutting area that I prefer not to deal with. I'm not dinging the product for this, I'm just stating my preferences.

Definitely worth every penny. Very useful tools and strong. The brush really gets all loose hairs right off from your dog & long haired cat and have to vacuum much less. Perfect for gifting.
