Bigger than expected, but that's great for me. Can really apply pressure where needed. I got this for my indoor griddle. Not a big one, just the ninja sizzle or something. Since its not stainless steel, I can't use the usual scrapers. This works awesome for it though. Strong wood, no bend, no splinters nor warping noticed. Even cut at the edges on the scraper end so its proper coverage. Will probably use this on my smoker grates as well before tossing them in the washer, but its basically just for the griddle. Glides across and takes off the bits of food scraps and seasoning bits that burned on without scuffing the coating on the griddle. Perfection.

Wanted to give this wooden scraper instead of a wire brush style grill cleaner.Need to use once to get notches started on scraper edge (see video on Amazon item page). Works well.Even though it's not stated, I recommend washing the scraper off after to use to keep food debris, grease, etc. from building up.I'm hopeful that this scraper lasts as long as bronze scrapers I've used in the past without the risk of bristles being left behind and getting into grilled food.

This scraper is sturdy and well-designed. I made grooves in the end so it would get between the ridges of my N**ja smoker grill. Being made of wood, it will not scratch chrome plating or a nonstick surface coating. Otherwise it will only scrape the top of any surface, which would be great for a flattop or a griddle. The handle is long which gives one a good grip on it when cleaning. A good tool to have if you grill a lot and like to keep your grill clean.

bought 2 of these after hearing of metal pieces breaking off other scrapers. Works GREAT!

I was wondering how this would work compared to foil and a heat glove.The first time using it, it didn’t feel like anything special. I heated the grill, sprayed some water, and tried to scrape. It did scrape, but not really well.The more I used it or broke it in, the more the grooves formed in the wood and the better it eventually cleaned. I clean the grill I intend to use every time I use it. Now, at the point where it has deeper grooves and sits nicely on the grill, it will clean pretty well on top and inbetween. It’s similar to my foil ball that I use, except I don’t have to use a glove. The handle keeps my hand out from over the heat.I’m honestly just wanting to see how long this scraper lasts. Then, past that, if it is more convenient doing it this way than w/ my old method. So far, it is a bit more convenient and I’m able to hang with my other grilling stuff.The problem that I can currently see is that I have multiple grills. I have a propane grill, a charcoal grill, and a smoker. Two of them have the same grill pattern/spacing. The other is slightly different. Therefore, in order to clean that one, I am still using my old method. If your situation is similar, then you may also consider this. Since I only use the two with the same grill pattern/spacing, this isn’t a big issue for me, right now.This is definitely a different way to clean the grill for me. It works well at cleaning and feels smooth while doing it. Still curious about how long this might last compared to a roll of foil.

The first scraper arrived with a split in the wood and two wood chips. I bought this because I didn't want the risk of metal slivers in my food, and wood chips splintering from a wooden scraper isn't much better.The manufacturer was responsive and quickly replaced the spatula.The second spatula was flawless - no splits in the wood, clean lines and good finish. It did a good job cleaning the grate on my Weber gas grill after making a steak and a burger. Use a light touch - enough to clean the grill without putting excess pressure on the handle or scraping edge.
