Nice lipstick pickup, not very hot and midrange focused. The build quality is good, however the supporting bracket is made of some thin aluminum alloy that feels a little flimsy

I was sent an Allparts replacement for a Hoffner bass pickup. I returned and bought a set of wonderful vintage Silvertone/Danelectro pickups for just a little more money.

I bought a pair of these based specifically on the advertised ohms rating (4.0K), as I was building a faithful reproduction of a Danelectro guitar which use low output pickups.I tested them when they arrived, and got a reading of 7.42K, almost double what is advertised.If you're planning to do an accurate build of a Danelectro, I suggest you look somewhere else.

found a junked 1965 Sears Silvertone in a closet. threw this pickup on it, along with a rosewood bridge and sounds great. nice stuff. good quality. good service
