This spade appears to be nearly indestructible. It’s like a pry bar with a shovel end. I’ve been relocating native saplings on my property and this is exactly the right tool for the job. I had been using a regular shovel and was worried I would snap the handle, with this shovel I’m pretty sure I will snap first. It is however wicked heavy, just carrying it around gets to be a workout.

What a great shovel. Roots not an issue grew fro removal of plants that have been in the ground for a while.

Amazing spade. The handle is all steel and all in one piece. There is never a worry that you're about to break the handle from leaning on it too hard. I'm digging things up with roots that go down 2 feet, and it's not only easy, but roots don't break (assuming you've loosened them enough). Incredible leverage. A gardener neighbor told me he dug up a magnolia tree and he and 2 other guys were all leaning on the handle (and it still didn't break). Note that b/c it's all metal, it's heavy to routinely carry around. It's a thing to note, but doesn't detract from the usefulness of the tool. Wish I'd had this years ago, as it is clearly buy-once use-your-whole-life kind of tool.

Awesome one time buy shovel... only problem is I'm addicted and want all the shovels this company offers. All thick steel, all welded, and great quality control. These shovels are the real deal. They get heavy after a while of use though but everyone needs a beer break! I will be purchasing more of this brand
