As the other reviewer mentioned, the countersunk holes on the string retainer bar are on the wrong side. What a joke!As for the other parts, they're soft, plated, cheap alloy almost-metal like. Do not buy this product. Save yourself the headaches and look elsewhere.By the way, the pictures are deceiving as well. One image (the 2D print) shows the countersunk holes being on the correct side, while the other showed it installed and not countersunk. Guess sellers do anything for a buck these days. Totally pathetic!

A am a part time guitar nerd.Been building my guitars for a few years. This locking nut, had one screw break off in a already threaded screw hole…. Thanks for nothing. And the string guide was bent and screw countersinks, on the wrong side…Unbelievable.

These are cast part and are not properly de burred before plating. Result can be cutting strings when you tighten the nut blocks! I killed 2 HI E strings before I woke up to reality! You must file the string slots smooth and de burr the blocks and body. Chrome plating builds on the surface and any surface defect can create a sharp Chrome edge ready and able to cut a string when you tighten the lock or setup a failure later.
