These dice are great for centers during phonics instruction, word games, either in small or whole group, or independent work.

The dice are large, well-made, incised and painted well. The markings won't rub off with use. The included bag holds the dice well. But it has an "interesting" smell to it. I suggest washing it if you can or using another bag. The smell is like tobacco smoke. The picture above of the dice and the bag is exactly what I received. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is because of the smell of the bag.

I use them alongside some 10 sided dice to make random passwords. Now if I could just find "special character" dice I would be set.

I wasn't sure how big these would be when I ordered them so added a photo with a quarter for comparison. These dice are solid and chunky. I purchased them to use with a group for creativity exercises. Randomizing word generation is great for artists and writers and these have been fun to use for that purpose. The bag that was included is a "Velvet" paper material and does not seem like it will hold up over time. But that was more of a bonus anyway. I will order these again. I was not compensated for this review. I was pleased with these and thought I'd share.

I use this in many games to teach my kindergarteners letter name and sound knowledge. They can be used for so many things, and the kids love them!

These are great for playing a game called scattergories with large groups of children, you can have more than one groups playing especially different age groups.
