Would have given it 5 stars but the plug part almost caught fire and when I tried to get a replacement plug end, it was impossible to get a hold of the manufacturer since it automatically has a 2 year warranty….. if the manufacturer isn’t going to follow through on their word when it comes to their own warranty, then don’t waist your money buying their products 🤷🏽‍♀️. Im extremely disappointed and also very upset that the pug almost caught fire. Over heats way too easily. I was extremely glad I was near it when it happened.

Very loud but really pretty. Heavy, solid construction. Sound issue might be resolved if used outside. Excellent customer service.

After looking at many types, sizes and prices, this one seemed the most aesthetically pleasing to look at as far as having a natural rock appearance. I wanted a taller rather than shorter and wide one. This has a nice five inch falls drop off and depending on your flow selection, will dribble down the rocks or make a nice glassy full sheet away from the back wall. Has a great relaxing sound to it and so far on the high flow setting, hasn't splashed around the outside. I plugged one side of the bottom reservoir which makes that basin a higher level which helps prevent splashing, also giving it a nice curling affect at the outer edge. The top also has a stream from the left side so you have to get the waterfall at just the right level for a good flow from that side. I had a couple issues but customer service was a great help in the end. All in all this is one of the best I can find for its looks and at decent price range, I bought used/good condition and the next day the price of new dropped in half, so I was pretty angry about that. I added a small fog/mist device inside the back basin and it looks really cool with the mist flowing from the bottom falls reservoir. I'm happy with the purchase, but others may vary in there tastes and requirments.

I really like the look of this fountain and it's the perfect size for my space, however, it leaked like a sieve !Luckily rather return it, my hubby siliconed the bottom where it was leaking so badly. Got it all reset and now we feel the power adaptor is running far to hot to be safe! What to do? Send it back? It looks so lovely and sound wonderful in my house. I wonder if a more powerful adaptor would suffice?

Really love this waterfall. Have not use it it yet as Im moving. But did plug in and try it, a little on the loud side, however you can put river rock from the dollar store in each one of the coves to soften the sound of the water fall

Bought this for my wife for Mother's Day and set it up yesterday. Our initial experience coincided with selected comments and minor problems mentioned in several reviews. I found the review written by Kuwabara to be the most helpful in describing these issues, which reflect nearly identically the situation we faced, but we worked through nearly all of them to our satisfaction. Many of these could be explained in a small instruction sheet describing the construction, setup and use of the fountain. There was none to be found in our box, so I don't know if this is typical, or not. So we had to blunder our way through the setup.Removing the unit from the box made us immediately wonder if it was damaged, as there were some pieces of resin rattling around inside. I removed all the loose pieces and inspected them. They appeared to be just construction artifacts that weren't discarded, so I didn't think too much of it. The water falls from the top pump discharge chamber to other small chambers where pools form, and overflow to the next lower one in sequence. Since the unit is a resin casting, all of the necessary detail can't be formed during raw manufacturing. There must be, for example, holes to allow drainage back to the main reservoir. It looks like these holes are 'knockouts' that must be manually-punched after being removed from the mold, and it appears that the loose pieces of resin I found were the hole bottoms before being knocked out. No big deal, but had they been removed and discarded, we wouldn't have feared that the fountain was damaged upon initial inspection. In the absence of instructions, all I could do was to fill it with water and turn it on to see what happened. What happened was immediate pumping of a significant stream of water out the back pump access hole, referred to by Kuwabara. I immediately turned it off to troubleshoot. As-mentioned, the pump access compartment is pretty small and all the wiring for the lights are tangled up inside of there, as well. My problem was quite obviously that the 'flexible' pump outlet hose was not connected to the pump. Unfortunately, there was insufficient room to check out and connect the hose to the pump without removing it from inside the unit. This required fishing out the pump, the wiring for the lights and and the hose. After the connection was made, it was a tight fit getting things back inside, because, as Kuwabara stated, the flexible hose isn't quite so flexible when it has to be temporarily bent to get it situated properly back inside the fountain.Turning on the pump a second time proved that the problem was solved. The water started to flow and the LEDs shone brightly. It takes a bit for the upper chambers to fill with water and overflow to the next lower ones. In our case, the action stopped before the lower-most chamber received any water. The pool above it was not overfilling to create the desired fall of water into it. The water was draining out of this chamber through a hole that returned the water to the reservoir. It looks like there was a 'knockout' that had been knocked-out, but was not supposed to have been. I temporarily covered the hole to the reservoir with one of the loose pieces of resin, and this produced the appropriate spillage to the bottom chamber.Everything was now working, providing good flow of water, a pleasing splashing sound, and --- spits of water all over the counter in front of the fountain. Yes, there's a flow-control grate on the pump, but I didn't want to repeatedly take that stuff out of the access hole again and adjust it by trial-and-error for minimal splashing, so I concentrated on the upper level where the water is expelled from the pump's flexible hose. There's a very porous sponge hidden inside the upper compartment, which diffuses the water stream. Changing the positioning of this sponge changes the way the water exits to the next tier of chambers, and affects where the water falls on the faux rocks below. This, in turn, allows a degree of regulation over how much splashing occurs in one particular area, and ultimately greatly reduced the amount of water drops that made it outside the footprint of the fountain and on to whatever base surface it's sitting on. I left it running overnight, and there's only a small amount of moisture that wasn't contained. Purchasers are cautioned to avoid setting this fountain on a finished wood or other surface that can be easily damaged by water. In all, from unboxing to spitting water took less than 10 minutes, including troubleshooting & fixing the issue with the pump & hose. I guess it could take 30 minutes to an hour for some, but I have a fair amount of experience figuring out and fixing things that don't seem to work right at first. It's a pleasant diversion when running, if you like this sort of thing. It is a little on the smallish side, but looks nice, nevertheless. Pleased with my purchase? Pretty much. I've seen this fountain listed at well over $100 from some outlets on the 'net. I would NOT pay that much for it.
