The Altima jungle PX boots are the finest quality jungle boot out there by a wide margin. Firstly, the leather is truly full grain, not genuine, FULL GRAIN. The texture of it is comparable to the texture of ones own skin and so long as it is treated as such it shall remain that way for many years. Moreover, the quality of synthetic materials reflects that of the leather itself and the stitching more so. The nylon upper compliments the feel of the leather lower by acting a stiff, but furthermore breathable and light, frame upon which the ankle may rest on. The vulcanized outsole is softer than the originals but almost un-noticeably so. Continuing, the lack of a steel shank makes these boots not only lighter than the originals but also noticeably more comfortable. Unfortunately, the boots do not include a built in leather insole as the originals did, so one may have to buy their insoles separately as the ones included with them are lacking in quality as compared to the remainder of the boot. The new ventilation buttons included with these are metal, as were the originals, but are truly more breathable. As somebody who has been wearing the original jungle boots for over two years now, I can safely say these are far better quality and I will be purchasing more of these in the future as work boots.

It is a excellent boots , I am using it last 7 days on my duty , nil issues, being summer in New Zealabd ar the present , the jungle boots gives me dry and comfortable at all times.

After a few days the boots fit just right. It is painful at first but in the end you get a really good fitting boot that will last.

Everything I expected from Altima jungle boots. A bit pricey, but good quality leather and stitching with a really well designed sole. I like that the lugs on the sole are chunky, but open. For a work boot in warm climates, it's hard to beat unless you need a steel/plastic toe. Fitment was true to size for me and they did take a short period to break in, but nothing painful or dramatic.

Got these for my boyfriend's birthday. He needed some good boots that dont gunk up with mud. Well, he used to be in the army and was talking about these boots so I got them for him. They definitely got delivered alot faster than I had thought they would, they came as described, and fit as expected. 5 stars well earned! Thank you!
