It works fine, However, it always starts with a squeezing noise. I am not sure if this is because I did not do it right.

This alternator works for a 2013 Toyota corolla s, BUT you will need to buy a new SMALLER serpentine belt. The oem belt is too big because the pulley on this alternator is slightly smaller than the one on the oem alternator. I went to O'Reilly and bought the Micro-V belt item # GAT K060480. You can probably find it around 20$ on amazon, but we needed the car up and running asap.*Tip when installing alternator do not fasten alternator mount screws fully until AFTER tightening/adjusting belt tensioner bolt, or you will get all kinds of screeching.Hope this helps someone, goodluck.

I purchased an Alternator from Amazon, risky I know, but I've had ZERO issues. The only problem with this alternator is that the pulley is very slightly smaller than the OEM one I had to replace so my belt squeaks now. However, that can be fixed if I wasn't too lazy to go grab a slightly smaller belt. Overall great purchase and would recommend.

So with installing this on my 2012 Toyota Corolla the top tab ends up being a bit too far towards the front of the car making you use all of the tension adjuster to get the belt tight so there is no more room for adjustment on the slide. Other than that it plugged in as it should and is working as intended.
