OUR BRAND
Altra Running was founded on an innovative approach to running shoes. An approach that took us from the back room of a specialty running store to the front of the pack on roads and trails across the world. With innovation at our forefront, our founders created our first shoe with the help of a toaster oven. This was the start of our signature shoe construction to help you move naturally and has kept our brand going for a decade while aiming to keep you running for a lifetime.

These ALTRA Men's Experience Flow road shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. They're lightweight but still provide excellent support, making them ideal for both running and everyday training activities. One of the standout features is the wide toe box, as it allows your toes to spread naturally, which adds to the comfort and stability, especially on longer runs. The cushioning strikes a great balance, soft enough to absorb impact, yet firm enough to feel stable and responsive. Whether I’m doing short sprints or longer distances, my feet feel supported and less fatigued. I bought a pair for my wife as well and she absolutely loves them too. She noticed the difference immediately and now wears them for her workouts and daily walks. Highly recommend!

I'd imagine a lot of people just accept cramped toe boxes because of mainstream brands. However this is absolutely worth the money to fix that.Perfect for flat footed, good stability and comfort. The slight drop is manageable and quick to adapt to. The wide toe box wins hands down. The usual delivery etc had no issues.

For someone who has bunions at 28. This shoe provides the width, stability and light weight to be a comfortable shoe while running and training activities.

These are the best walking shoes I've ever used. The wide front makes a big difference. I also like the support on the whole foot while not digging into my arch. If you have wide/flat feet, you should give these a try.

The toe box in this shoe was very tight compared to other altras I have worn, and I have worn a lot and just about every style. Disappointed in this pair of altras.

This is my new favorite brand. Super well made with a great cushioned sole. Allows your toes to splay in a natural position. Only shoe I'll wear going forward.

I have dabbled with wide toe box, zero drop shoes before. These are nice as they have a level of built in stability and a slight heel drop of 4mm. Good if you are thinking about moving to zero drop. A great transition shoe.

This has made a world of difference for my running journey.The sole is actually super thick and I was concerned at first that this would be too much of a handicap helping, but the comfort and spacing for your wide foot is just too good and feels so right.It was worth 100% of the money I paid. I guess spending money on what's between you and the ground really is worth every penny. In my defence, I just had no idea that, being someone with a wide foot, using a more specific shoe would help as much.I hope I am fortunate enough to never have to return to mainstream shoes with the standard narrow foot design.Thanks a lot, Altra.
