It did not fit. When I attempted to install the board, there appears to be either a warp in the aluminum or the precut holes for the power and sd card were off just enough to not fit properly. Not only did it not fit properly, but it placed too much stress on the sd card holder that it no longer reads the sd when inserted. Now I have to replace my entire raspberry pi unit for another $65. extremely disappointed. All I wanted was to find a better than option than the cana kit because of the fan noise. This was not it. Hoping for their sake it was just a one off and other people don't have this situation.

Nice and simplistic!Easy to assemble (despite one hole's thread being tight, but I managed) and keeps the temp on my Pi4 only ~5C higher (~40C) than my previous plastic case with individual heatsinks and a fan (~35C).But on the pro side: it's dead silent vs. the tiny-whiny and annoying little fan.

I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with no hat so this case works. Pi 4's don't run very hot but this case is a great heat sink anyway.

I was concerned after reading a negative review that it doesn't fit. But when I looked more closely on his attached picture I realized that he did not remove the small heat sinks that were on the ICs.I can confirm that it fits, easy to assemble, clear instructions (large enough so you can read them) and is very well finished, comes with the heat transfer pads.

Finally, my raspberry pi has an adequate case!In the past, I have run it 'naked' with no case at all; I've also run it mounted to an acrylic board that was called a "case". I've run it with a cute little fan that crudely blew air on to the CPU (but not the RAM, USB controller, or power supply...), and finally, I've even run it with noisier fans that attach to the CPU with thermal paste and feature cool LEDs like the "big" computers do....But I wanted something more sleek and quiet to make a real workhorse out of, and this case delivers that! The entire case is metal, so it's a huge heat sink. It comes with thermal pads that attach the metal to the not just the CPU, but also to the USB controller, the RAM, and the power supply chip. This design is excellent, both functionally and aesthetically -- and a HUGE plus for me is that it's completely quiet since there are no moving parts like fans!I am loving this case and would never want anything other than this. In my application, I turned the raspberry pi into a Speedify box to bond internet connections together, and it's performing really well at that task in this new metal case.

I was concerned when I read reviews of the Raspberry Pi 4B computer running hot however this iUniker aluminium case designed for the Pi 4B does work to limit the temperature. In light usage I have found the CPU is at 47°C.However the cooling effect is only possible if the case is assembled correctly. The instructions with the case are poor and from reading reviews by other Amazon purchasers of this item I think some have not appreciated the need to install the thermal pads correctly. The case is made with internal extrusions that match the 4 chips on the Pi 4B board that need to be cooled. When properly assembled the entire metal case becomes a heatsink to protect the Pi board from excessive temperatures. To do this the chips on the board and the extrusions on the cases must be in thermal contact. There are 8 pieces of thermal tape – 4 to be applied to the chips and 4 on the case. The difficult part is to prepare these pieces of tape which are in the form of a ‘sandwich’ with paper on one side and clear plastic on the other. It is essential both the paper and the clear film be removed to allow the thermal contact to be made. The clear plastic is easy to remove once you see it is there but the paper is difficult to separate from the thermal paste without damaging it. I used a sharp knife to carefully cut away the paper. When this is done and the case assembled the on-board chips and the case are then in contact. This is a well-made product only let down by poor instructions and difficult to use thermal tape.

Great heat dissipation. I ran several stress tests using "stress" and "glxgears" on the system but never got the CPU much over 60°C. The Pi 4 has a hard throttle down point at 80°C but begins some throttling around 60°C. I use another all aluminum heatsink on my Pi 3, but that hits 75°C under heavy stress. The case looks really good. Tolerances are pretty tight--far better than any plastic case I've seen. On the case I received there is a bit a marring on the edges between the two halfs. The flat surfaces are mostly defect free and I only observed a couple of imperfections. All the marks took place prior to anodizing and are thus fairly hidden unless one looks closely. This Pi 4 will be part of a demo to a client and I feel the case is going to look good for this presentation. The rubber feet are a good touch to keep the device from sliding around. It would be nice if there were some kind of additional mounting option, like standoffs, that would allow the Pi to be mounted on something. However, the case is aluminum so drilling and tapping your own holes is an option and one I might pursue. My only complaint is that one of the screws was stripped out. My guess is an electric screw driver was used to put the screw in and stripped the aluminum threads on the case. The three remaining screws were fine however. The SD card also rather difficult to access. It inserts easily, but removing it can be more challenging. All said, I will likely be buying this case for future Pi projects.
