The hardware that comes with the bracket to mount it to the kayak is to light. Other than send it back, I just drilled out the mounting holes on the bracket for larger bolts I had in my shop. The bracket is made from a heavy duty aluminum and identical to some name brand brackets at half the price. Easy to install. I would buy this again.

This motor mount proved to be an effective solution for my requirements. I successfully installed it onto the rear of my 10.5-foot vessel. Wellnuts were utilized in conjunction with stainless steel screws to ensure a secure attachment. The mount exhibited exceptional stability and rigidity. Despite its robust construction, it did not add a significant amount of weight to the kayak. The price point of this mount is highly competitive considering its superior quality.
