- Very well made, perfect fit and finish. Easily worth more than it price point of $20- Includes a bonus little allan wrench,- The rubber shims easily adapt to different sized pipe and used with the clamp they are very secure.- I installed on a DRZ 400 and will be using it for a GPS mount for trail riding, I have no doubt this will take the abuse.

I've been using older Gen 1 RAM mounts that rely on those clunky U-bolts. They're not only a hassle to install, but the bolt stems also stick up and get in the way. I decided to give this product a try, hoping it would fit the wider bars on my XSR700 and I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly. Compared to my old setup, this mount is a huge upgrade. It's sleek, fits snugly, tightens down securely, and looks great. Best of all, it completely eliminates the issue of the protruding U-bolt.

This ball mount comes with 3 spacing rings of various thickness and an Allen wrench for installation. The 1" ball is made of hard rubber, but the rest of the mount is anodized aluminum. I put the mount on my bicycle handlebars so I'd have a means to attach my cell phone holder. The mount fits nicely, even though my handlebars are rather thick in the middle. I've used composite nylon mounts in the past, and occasionally one of them cracks when in use. I don't see that being an issue with this sturdy aluminum mount. Definitely recommended if you need a handlebar mount.

I like the single screw/bolt approach so you can have a hand free to catch your equipment that may still be mounted. It's easier to get the whole thing tight with just one hand. Perfect for handlebar cross bars or accessory mounts like the one pictured. The ball has a "rubber like" coating to keep the socket arm from moving. It cinches tight and doesn't move but you can also choose to leave it a little less tight so it can take a hit and move, a good idea for lights a GPS units in case you fall over. Well made and well worth the price. 4.5/5

Works perfectly for mounting a Ram Quick Grip phone mount to my bike handlebars with a short arm double ball mount.

It works exactly as expected. Solid grip, no wobble, and the included rubber inserts help it fit snugly on different bar sizes. I used it with my existing RAM mount setup and had zero compatibility issues. Install was quick and easy—feels sturdy and secure even on rough rides.

The price of this ball mount might be off-putting to some buyers, but you won't find one that exceeds it in build quality. The materials, machining, and finish are impeccable and the device includes adapters to fit various diameter tubing. Best of all is its compatibility with other manufacturers' components designed for a 1 inch ball. All things considered, it is an excellent choice for a handle bar mounted device.
