I tried to put this on my scooter because clearly I need more handlebar space.The only problem is that it won't stay on. No matter how many spacers I use or don't use, it slides down (even with nothing attached to it), and that would mean losing my phone along with other important things.So my search for a handlebar extender continues.It's just no good and useless if the extender slides down constantly.

This item would not secure to handle bar. No matter how many shims were put in it would not hold to the handle bar. I couldn’t get it stop moving before mounting what I purchased it to be used for.

The clamps and bar look decent, but the plastic spacers aren't good. The spacers allow the clamps to rotate on the handlebars even when the clamps are very tight. The spacers should be made out of hard rubber or some other material with a higher friction coefficient.I found some hard rubber spacers in my parts drawer, so I put the handlebar extender on my bars and took my bike out for a test ride on a single track trail. With the clamps cinched tight, the extender rotated on the handle bar after hitting some rough sections the trail. It seems like the longer I rode, the quicker the extender rotated. I pulled out my allen wrench and tried cinching down the clamps a little tighter and the threads on the clamp quickly stripped out. The threads on the clamp look to be an insert in the clamp, but they are clearly made out of too soft a metal.

This is a very useful product. I installed the bar on the front of my handlebars. I appreciate the bar being as wide as it is. I was easily able to mount two lights a handlebar bag and a water bottle holder on it. I used two rubber strips cut from a used bike intertube under the clamps and that helped prevent the bar from slipping. The bar is a very good looking blue. Very useful for me.

A pesar de que tiene sus gomas , estas se deslizan por el manillar lo cual el tubo de la extensión se sube y se baja. Traté ajustando más los tornillos, pero no se queda en su lugar.
