I have have way too many issues with this intake. 1. The 4 middle hole adapters wouold not allow the bolts to start. (Enlarged holes) 2. Torquing the intake bolts, some were sinking into intake. (Used large wasahewers) 3. Not enough clearance for the oil pressure sender. (clearnced the area to accept the large sender). 4 Upper alternator bracket bolt hoe too far from the front. (Had to enlarge the bolt hole in bracket). 5. Recess for the thermostat too deep, thermostat is loose. (TBD)I have done too many modifications to be able to return it.

The fit was terrible I tried 3 different intake gaskets sets and still wouldn’t seal off. I ordered a Holley intake from summit and used the same intake gasket it works great.

When the intake arrived, I was in a rush to get it on the engine to seal it. After I had set it on the engine with sealer, I then saw the carburetor flange heavily damaged from being bounced around. Since I had placed it in the engine, I have kept working on it. Also, standard intake manifold bolts will not work with this manifold. Will need small headed bolts to clear the runner casting. Not a good investment to replace a factory intake.

Manifold did not mount to engine properly, when started the engine failed to idle and the manifold was leaking both coolant and vacuum
