All of the holes needed to be chased with a tap before being able to assemble. Otherwise, the screws will bind up and snap (trust me). Picture shows a portion of the chips from chasing one shock tower hole.I'm optimistic that this metal piece will still be better than plastic for keeping suspension screws tight during Slash bash sessions, but right now I'm pretty annoyed about having to go out and buy a tap just to put it together.

Completely upgrading a traxxas, these look great and are stout. Exactly what I'm looking for and not having to compromise.

These towers are a great upgrade, as I've found that when we run in cold weather the plastic is more prone to break if you have a significant wipeout. These towers will certainly be more durable, with the addition of a little weight. The only downside to using aluminum towers is that in a significant crash, this may move the part that gives out to breaking your chassis or something else.The fit and quality is great, and they install without any modification. They also look fantastic as well. Great value, as many towers that cost significantly more aren't as well made as these.

I ordered these as spare parts for my Slash. I currently have plastic parts, but as replacement parts are needed, I am replacing them with precisely made anodized aluminum.This set of shock towers, both front and rear, are perfectly made. When I finally use them, the beautiful blue will add some more nice color to my car. I am replacing everything with blue anodized aluminum, so this set of shock towers will fit the style scheme I'm looking for.I only put high quality parts in my car and these shock towers are part of that plan.

I know it’s only a shock mount, but you must admit having the custom “Gthele” logo on the parts is cool. Like most Gthele parts it comes with hardware. The fit and finish is awesome. One would be hard pressed to find better machining of materials. The titanium finish just sparkles next to any color you place it against.

I really like the look of these shock towers and they come with all the hardware you could possibly need for installing them on your RC.My biggest concern was setting up the mounts for the body of the car, but once I looked at how it was supposed to fit into the rear shock tower it made sense and was basically just a drop in replacement.

The parts fit in place of the stock shock towers perfectly. I’m glad they came with all the necessary hardware as I needed some of the parts. I was able to put the front shock towers on with all the original Traxxas hardware but I noticed that I had a few mismatched screws on the rear so I installed the hardware from the kit and everything worked fine.I like how these make my Stamped 4x4 look. They add a little bit of extra weight to the vehicle but that’s to be expected when going from plastic to metal. I think that these parts are high quality and are a worthwhile upgrade for the Stamped 4x4.
