Using this front diff cover in a custom build to create a Slash with Traxxas after market components. The diff fits snug and all the chassis bolts line up well, to include the chassis brace. Very tight tolerance but all bolts go in freely with no resistance up to the head. That's a really good sign. The color is an awesome blue and even throughout. Comes in two parts which both match up perfectly. Definitely a step in the right direction.

This looks great and is light weight aluminum. I did have one issue the M4 holes on the bottom had to tapped when the hardware would not screw in without binding up before reaching full depth, all four holes had the same issue. Besides that everything went together fine.

This is a great option for a metal casing for your gearbox. It is well machined and fits well with other 3rd party upgrades and OEM parts.Overall I am quite happy with this hopup.

This is an amazing upgrade transmission case gearbox. This provided much more stable housing for the gears in this specific RC car. I love that you can use it for four or more different types of this RC car in Traxxas. The aluminum housing was a super nice touch and I think all custom design should have this the machined work on this was impeccable and I had no issues with the installation. It comes with all the hardware you need for an easy transition to aluminum. The price is incredibly fair and worth every penny I would recommend this to anybody with the specific build. Great product.

I am using this on an old Stampede.. The original Traxxas transmission internals were fine, so i cleaned them up and installed. I used white lithium grease to lube internals. This aluminum transmission case is made well, casing goes together properly. The lower control arm mounts are beefy, no longer a weak link. I recommend using RPM control arms so that there is still some flexibility to reduce breakages. If the heat sinks interfere with your brushless motor cooling, you can clock the cooling fins on your motor. That alleviated my issue. So far its holding up to 2S and 3S speed runs, steel CVDs, and steel spur gear. You will need a back bumper/skid plate to cover the bottom hole of the transmission.

Well worth it, had to file down one of the bearing sleeves… was mill d just a little to small.
