This is a nice T Molding, but unfortunately after we put down our new flooring our two surfaces were not level and we had to buy a different molding to compensate for the difference in flooring heights. I was disappointed because I really liked the look of this molding. It is just a nice, clean, thin line that connects the two surfaces seamlessly. It is a strong piece of material and perfect length for our doorway, no trimming needed. We still have more flooring to put down, so I am going to hang onto this, just in case we end up needing a transition strip in a doorway somewhere we didn't plan on needing one. It really is one of those little touches that you don't notice, but it elevates the room.

These trims are somewhat thin, but that's exactly what I needed. I don't need trims that "shout" across the room and these fit the bill. I received them in good condition, with no bends. They were cut to size easily and applied without issues. The matte black color looks good when transitioning from dark hardwood to the brown carpet. Recommended.

I had to put on a new screen door going out to my backyard after hurricane Beryl blew through town. The hurricane blew it off and while I was replacing that door I noticed some of the framework also needed replacing. As I replaced the frame some of the old pieces no longer fit including the old transom piece it was way to wide to fit, I needed something a little thinner. I got what I asked for, this is very thin front to back and barely covered the area I needed it to. My piece of advice is measure carefully the space where you will be needing this since it is so thin. There is no margin for error. I put this between my door and my flooring, this would work best between rooms in between the flooring and not going out a door.

Good strong aluminum T bar. It is as advertised a good product for filling those Transitional places you want to cover. Thin and light weight some sort of adhesive would be advisable.
