They definitely don't look distressed more like they have been finger painted on but still Im thankful for finding them to fit under my island prefectly. My island is 33" tall and they tuck under perfectly so they aren't in the way when I'm cooking. they are sturdy and took no time at all to unbox and assemble. I was prepared to buy cushion for them because they didn't look the least bit comfortable but my family and I have had no complaints and we sit here each night for dinner.

Bought these for our counter height island seating. Pros: perfect height, not wobbly, very sturdy, easy to wipe clean. Cons: the color was darker than I thought it was in the pics, so it’s more bronze than gold and doesn’t totally match our hardware. And since they are metal, the seat is not the most comfortable for longer sits.

These took minutes to assemble! Just the back gets screwed on! They look amazing in the kitchen! Great look for a great value !

Nice stools and good value. However, you can not sit on these for extended periods. These stools are not that comfortable after so long. I am going to buy some seat cushion. Overall a great value for the money.
