I haven't done an extensive amount of testing with this cable, so I can't comment on its subtle audio qualities, but I can report that it does work fine, with my mics. It does allow a very constrained setup (for example, with cables mounted behind something at the back of a cabinet) and it does allow the cable to be rotated for access. It does all this while functioning properly. The connectors are good, and have a nice, solid, firm fit.Given how short this cable is, and the balanced nature of XLR cables, I can't imagine you're going to have any real signal issues. This is a good cable for bringing sockets out to where you can access them.

I'm a full-time professional musician and can say that I have some experience with audio cables. The price of this item (currently AU$55.29, normally AU$69.99) and the rotating XLR connectors piqued my interest and, after all, one can never have too many cables, right?!Well, this cable arrived today and I was gobsmacked to realise that the XLR connector housings are plastic. Rigid plastic, at least, but still plastic. Over the years, I've bought some of the best connectors and audio cable available to make my own cables and I simply cannot understand how this 45cm cable can possibly be valued at AU$55.29??!?! Luckily, I am an Amazon Vine reviewer and obtained this item free of charge for review purposes, and there is no way I can recommend this product. It might be worth $15 at most and even then, I would have concerns about using XLR connectors with plastic housings as they just won't last over time, especially given that nothing is repairable with this cable.On the positive side, the 100° rotation is neat because I frequently encounter situations where some rotation would be nice. The inclusion of 2 x bright orange colour-code rings and a velcro cable tie is good but for the price, there are a lot better products on the market.
