This fan is super fun to use—perfect for that dramatic clack and snap open/close action. It’s surprisingly effective too, giving off a solid gust of air with each wave. The design looks great in person and the size is just right—not too bulky, but big enough to make a statement. Great combo of style and function!

The fan is large & I love the glitter but the creases in the fan are uneven so you can’t whip it open as easily like how you see with the “boots on the ground” dances. If you’re using this like an actual fan then it’s perfect cause I’ve started using this to help dry my lace glue instead of using a blow dryer & I really think it helped save my edges. So using it as a fan is great but using it for the boots on the ground dance is not as great.

This is a nice fan of basic quality materials. For the price you aren't going to get anything amazing that will last you years to come, but if you take care of this it should last for some time. It looks great with a sparkly black side and a non-sparkly side, and I prefer i this way so it doesn't look too silly and glittery. The sparkle is more subtle and elegant rather than an overt glittery situation.The structure is based on smooth plastic, and the fan moves smoothly without obstruction. As a clacker it's OK, the plastic doesn't make as loud of a sound as it is a bit softer and smoother than other fans I've encountered. But it moves smoothly as well enough to clack on rhythm with practice.The actual fan part seems to be made of a nylon like material and it manages to move wind effectively and efficiently. The overall spread is quite large so you can get some solid wind going if you want, enough to cover the area of 2-3 people. It works efficiently without any wasted effort.Overall this is a great fan for parties, or just in general for the warmer months. It has a subdued look that won't be out of place if you aren't exactly at a party. But the glitter on it would also catch the light in cool ways at a party.
