I had to bore a few doors I made for these hinges. Measured carefully, marked the center, lightly center punched them, brought it over to the drill press, set the depth, and bored the holes. The hinges dropped in perfectly, marked the screw holes and predrilled them and they were ready for install. If you are going to do this a lot you will want a jig or specialty tool but if you will only do this occasionally then this is really all you need.
