Product seems to be good quality, but in order to change direction (left to right) you have to remove to get to the bolt to move it. Too much work. If you don't need to adjust then it would be a keeper.

If on the fence, here's the highlights of my experience:1. Chrome matches perfectly with my existing rails2. Threading works fine, they stay secure though I do double check them every now and then. A little blue locktite would handle issues if they arise in the future.3. This is an unbranded product, same item sold with a label at other stores. You can actually see the spot where a company logo would go.4. I keep my boat in the garage, freshwater, no rust after 4 years.5. No issues when trolling walleye on Lake Erie, rods stay in place with fish on.6. These are simple and classic so some people might prefer more advanced rod holders.7. I bought 2 and liked them so much I bought 4 more, 6 total.Love them and would buy again from Amarine. And no, not a paid review, how do people even get that gig?

If you're looking to add rod holders on a boat with rails, these are hard to beat. I got the 1.25" ones for myself, then added these 7/8" ones for my brother's boat. Solid and better than ones off the shelf at certain chain boat supply store. I even troll live baits for kingfish (light drags) with these.

These are excellent with respect to visual inspection . Nice welds. Nice polish. I used them on golf cart to transport rods because I was suspicious of quality for the price. Now considering for use on my Whaler. Short term won’t disappoint.

They are solid. Look great. Great price. Don't install on a fancy boat as they will quickly develop minor surface rust.
