Very easy to install. It looks great but it just was not watertight. I took a lot of water of the bow while cruising. When I got back to the dock I noticed that the compartment was full of water. The water seal gasket is a little weak. I recommend adding a bead of silicone to reinforce the water seal capabilities.

Hatch is great quality. Recently used it on a project boat renovation. It looks like professionally installed. Latch opens smooth, plastic is very hard and durable. I have used several of these on different boats and have always been happy with the results.

I put a hole in my pontoon boat deck, and a 1/4 inch mesh screen under it. Now I have a place to dump fish water bucket...easier than over rail. And with screen only liquids go thru

thing has no issues. opens and closes just fine nothing broken and handle closes good and firm still. you can get a marine bluetop battery through it will a little finesse, but it goes. Overall, I would buy again. especially now since its $7 cheaper.
