Purchased as a fun gift. We all had a good laugh as the monkey made noise when the tape was pulled! A little lightweight, but still works. Good size and sturdy construction.

This dispenser is how it's pictured.It's fun and whimsical, but also a bit noisy when pulling the tape and the monkey's symbols barely makes a sound when clapping.

Somehow I stumbled upon the fact that the third Wednesday in April is National Banana Day, so of course I decided to throw an office party. We played a banana trivia game and this was the prize. The banana bread and banana splits were a big hit, but not even close to this little treasure!! This is so stinking cute and funny!! Everybody (even the banana day haters) were laughing at the little clapping tambourines when the tape dispenses. And on top of that it is sturdy and easily cuts the tape. Win win for product quality and comic relief.

I had read the reviews before buying and many people complained about it breaking and not making noise. Well, it makes noise (but you have to pull the tape fast) and its quite functional and oh so very cute! My office mate loves it and now NO ONE can steal it because it can be spotted a mile away!
