A pretty nice soft box. Good strong quality. It folds up into a nice small size Good for travel. To take a part and put together, clicks right into place. Comes with this nice grid find it very useful I personally like it It's a tiny bit small but it works.

I love having some of these smaller softboxes that I can break out if I need them and keep one in the car. Mounts with a standard mount which means I can use it on all my different lights and flashes.

This is a really well made softbox. When you get it you need to take some care putting on the inner diffuser, outer diffuser, and grid if you want the grid it's very nice. It came with no instructions for that so I had to rely on previous experience to get a satisfactorily tight fit. Wasn't too hard.I am really impressed with the snap into place design of where the tines meet the Bowens mount and click how they into place. I personally did the tire changing/tent raising method of putting tension directly opposite each time I snapped it into place. I then put on the inner diffuser and tried to get it equally tight on all four corners. Success. Then I went for the outer diffuser and again tried setting the tension in a cross shape and shored up the other connecting points after. The grid is a little wonky for set up but as you can see, it fits pretty good if you take your time. I probably had the softbox set up in 5-7 minutes.I popped all the trigger to break it down and put it in the supplied carry bag. Took it back out and re-clicked the tines and bam you have my posted photo. This compares to my Cheetah parabolic softbox in quality.I am very happy for this small but easy to set up softbox.Would order again, and this company is certainly on my radar going forward.-M-

Brilliant, this small soft box is so easy to carry and the perfect addition to my small 60watt COBs. This is small enough to fit into the top of a camera case, and between the small LED and this softbox, I have a nice little package that goes with me everywhere. It assembles instantly because all the ribs are already installed, and just need to be extended. Very nice little package, which includes the box, a diffuser, egg crate and a draw string carry pouch. This is a winner and a must have for anyone who shoots doc work.

This is a quick release type small softbox. The umbrella arms expand and lock individually, and it's easy to unlock the arms when folding it back. The locking mechanism is easier to handle than a Smallrig's softbox I own.The softbox is fairly small so it doesn't diffuse the light the best when compared to larger softboxes. It's a semi-portable size, allowing you to use weaker light stands. There are two shortcomings on this softbox though. First, the main diffuser panel is thin so it diffusers light worse than my other Godox and Smallrig softboxes. The second issue is that the bowens mount rotates when pressured is applied. This means when I sometimes try to lock this softbox into a bowens mount, the umbrella rotates but the bowens mount portion does not. This can lead to the bowens mount not locking properly and may cause the softbox to fall off during a shoot.Overall it's a small softbox quick a good quick release but also has other shortcomings.

I like how small this packs up, and how quick and easy it is to set up and put away. It has velcro for inner baffle, which I prefer over the fabric loop and metal clip style that the majority of softboxes I've used has. The velcro is faster and easier to do with one hand. Once I fully expanded it, I noticed one of the spokes was poking out. I didn't notice this before, so I'm not sure if it came that way or if I did it by holding it wrong. Either way, once I collapsed it, I was able to reinsert it. I'm not sure if it's the kind of part that should be glued in place, because maybe it needs to move a little for the set up, but if it continues to happens, I'll try glue. I'm not going to deduct a star though because it was easily solved and even if it pops out in the future, it is still functional.I noticed another review saying it wasn't a great value. I strongly disagree. This is among the most affordable options, aside form the flimsy collapsible boxes that use tension to hang off bowens mounts, or the annoying tent pole style of the old days. I have no patience for those old tent pole style now that I've been spoiled with this style. And the inclusion of the grid is great too, something that not all softboxes have but can be quite useful.

I work in a studio, so I know what good quality is with soft boxes and this one is fantastic. The Bowens mount is rock solid and the locking mechanisms for the lift rods work perfectly. The double diffusion also really softens the light well. The honeycomb attaches very easily with strong velcro and and reduces light refraction.I love how it's easy to set up and break down and extremely portable with a nice carrying case.Overall a great portable softbox that you will love.
