Tacoma 6-lug 2" Rear Suspension Lift U Bolts 4PCS 10" Extra Long OEM Material
American Automotive u bolts are manufactured OEM factory material with grade 8 hardware, American u bolts embody extreme strength and maintain OEM handling characteristics. These square u bolts are engineered to clamp 2.5 inch wide leaf springs and are 10 inch extra-long measured from the bottom of the bend to the bottom of the threads. American u-bolts provide an even distribution of pressure to protect against premature spring failure and unwanted movement. Allowances need to be made for all overloads and aftermarket leafs. They can be cut down to fit many applications.

TECHNICAL NOTES
- Retighten U-bolts after the first 500 miles
- Minor settling from new or repaired springs can cause a reduction in clamp force
- Make sure you have a 2.5" axle because they do come in different widths

The Price and Original Appearance was good. After ONE YEAR they’re completely rusted. Blocks are good and the surrounding areas are good. These bolts are my second set and the first set never rusted. Just be aware they don’t seem to be very weather resistant. I have safety concerns and don’t want to spend anymore money. Not what I expected.

I ordered these for my tacoma. Paired them with the OME HD leaf springs. They did the job but were a little long and had to get trimmed. Springs ride smooth like butter.

Very nice item but in description says 8.5 inches long they were 10.5 inches long and threads stopped around 7.5 inches.

Good quality so 4 stars but top of u bold only hugs side of leaf and doesn’t sit flush on top like originals...but went together well.

I used these u-bolts in an axle swap on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. They don't look like the picture provided. They were more substantial than the OEM ones that came on the vehicle, especially the nuts, which needed a larger socket for installation. They fit well, and though I did not add a leaf or lift kit, the bolts had enough threading. Following installation I cut the excess threaded rod away a few threads below the nuts. Steel seems to be good quality, fairly high carbon content, so I feel confident that they will hold up. I painted them before and after installation, as other reviews complained of rust issues, which are to be expected... Included with the bolts, nuts, and split-ring lock washers was a short instructional sheet with torque specs and installation recommendations. Shipped quickly.

These U Bolts fit my 1987 SR5 4Runner 4x4 perfectly. They are longer than stock, so they were perfect for the add-a-leaf's I installed to bring up the sagging rear end. They are long, so after install you can choose to chop them shorter if you like. I did have to re-order as it appeared someone returned the first set I was sent, as it was missing one nut and one crush washer.Not the fault of the product, so no star deduction. I know there are other options out there, but I don't want gold U-bolts with my stock black hardware.
