I bought this to hold and dry my tubes I use for testing aquarium water. The holes they sit in are much bigger diameter and the bottom is dished. So a flat bottom tube wants to cant to a side. The drying posts are too big and the tubes will not fit loose enough. The pats are tapered so when you put a tube on them, it slides down and makes a tight seal. Nothing dries.

I use API test tubes with a freshwater testing kit for aquarium maintenance. Before this rack, I was constantly knocking tubes over and either spilling the contents or breaking the tube. The rack makes the whole process much easier. The rack would hold larger tubes, but works just fine for the smaller 5 ml tubes.

I purchased this to use with my standard sized API fresh water aquarium test kit and it works perfectly for holding and drying my API test tubes. This was exactly what I was looking for and is a well built, quality test tube rack.

I bought this for 10 ml test tubes used in a pond test kit. It works fine, but the rack is really more appropriate for larger test tubes. It is hard to get them in and out of the rack without contaminating the lip with my fingers.It does have drying racks, which are convenient.

I did a decent amount of research to find a good test tube rack that actually dried tubes. Most racks won't really dry test tubes as when they're upside down, they'll actually sit flush with the bottom of the rack which ends up not allowing any air to go inside and dry it. These are raised to allow air to flow inside when drying. It's the best rack I've found for my purpose of testing my aquarium water parameters. I use the API test kit and this fits the tubes well.

This test tube holder is perfect to hold the smaller test tubes that come with the API freshwater aquarium testing kits. We needed a rack to hold seven vials to speed up the testing process, and it has worked great. It is a very durable rack and doesn't take up a lot of space.
