While something along these lines was required to do all of the spandex sewing I was doing for my classic Iron Man costume, I found this thread to be very difficult to work with on a regular sewing machine (I was using the appropriate needle). It kept wanting to jump out of the thread path in the machine. It also tended to bunch up and get tangled while I was using it. Some of the issues may just be that this was my first time using this kind of thread. In the future, I'm sure I'll have to use this stuff again, but I'm certainly not looking forward to it.
