Beautiful set. The outside quilted bag is very pretty and nicely padded. The tiles are engraved and then painted. They include 2 different set types of Flowers so you can choose which set to use. 8 Flowers with the people OR the 8 Flowers printed with the 4 seasons and flowers.The racks look like nice heavy plastic . I really like this set.The set come with a small booklet called How to Play Mah-Jongg . Nice but it needs to be updated and reviewed. There are a few spelling and grammatical errors in the booklet. When describing the Charleston-they spell the word LEFT incorrectly-They write LEFE. Then the actual directions are incorrect in the second pass of the Charleston. The directions say pass to the left but the arrows/sketch shows the passes to the right. PAGE 10. There are other typos in the booklet and so in my opinion it could use an updated typeset of the booklet and a bigger different font as well. There may be some other errors but since I am new to this game I would not know! In any case this does not keep me from buying or recommending this set.

Great set for a mahjongg beginner.I suggest buying the League's handbook rather than relying on the rules included with this set. Nonetheless, this is a good value, and mine has held up well.

The tiles are beautifully made and are an exact match to the ones my club uses. The handy travel bag makes this set easy to take with you. It’s a complicated game so be sure you have a good teacher by your side as you learn how to play!
