Natural Model Fill-Ins

The "Natural" version of the holster molding prop is one where the native gun model has only the minimal fill in work done to assist in the holster making process. The trigger guard and ejection port on most handguns will create an area of retention when used to form a normal KYDEX or leather holster. These areas are filled in on a "Natural" molding prop to give the holster maker a perfect place to start the holster molding and design process from.

What is a "Prepped" Holster Molding Prop? A "Prepped" molding prop has most of the common retention areas filled in or prepped for holster making.

The "Prepped" version of the holster molding prop is one where the native gun model has Complete fill in work done to assist in the holster making process. The trigger guard, ejection port, site channel and slide release have all been prepped for holster molding. Most handguns will create an area of retention when used to form a normal KYDEX or leather holster without fill ins. These troublesome areas are filled in on a "Prepped" molding prop to give the holster maker a complete ready-to-go gun holster prop. These have smooth entry, exit and retention built in to the prepped areas.

I make custom gun holsters and use these plastic replicas to mold the leather. This prevents me from having to use the customer’s actual pistol. This one was dead on perfect!!

This mold is pretty close to the real thing and it serves its purpose well. Mine did require a little bit of cleanup with a small file in order to fit onto the rail but it certainly wasn’t an issue to take care of. Shipping was really fast too.TLDR; not bad, I’d buy it again
