I had a Gen 2 motor and ECM fail while I was out on vacation (joy). When I searched for a replacement this unit came up saying it was fully compatible. When the motor arrived I was disappointed to find that it was not the exact model as advertised, what was shipped was the Gen 3 model, which according to forums would not work with my control board. At any rate, I decided to try the unit and see if it works. To my surprise and happiness, it seems the vendor programmed the unit to work with my older gen 2 board. When hooked up, everything worked just as it did previously! YEAH! I now have heating and cooling again :-)

I returned the item and they charged me $379 restocking fee !!!

I got this motor about 9 months ago and it’s has been working great. Im glad I was able to fix the AC myself and not bring in an HVAC company that would have cost so much more

Installed in my AC indoor unit with my buddy. Getting the old one out was a bear. Getting the new one in was straightforward.
