I removed the fiber optic front blade sight from my Smith & Wesson. I properly cleaned & prepped for the installation. I had to gently file a bit of the front edge off to get it to seat in the dovetail without the "bow", which should be expected for a "one size fits..." drop in part. Once it was firmly seated in place, I attempted to make small adjustments with the calibrated sight pusher & one side of the dovetail mount snapped off. The sight is still firmly seated, & a little bit of silver solder should fix the gap under the sight blade & dovetail mount (which should also be expected for these "one size fits...) sights), but I was still disappointed at how brittle the construction is.If it hadn't broken, this would have garnered a 5 star. It's still a good deal for a tritium from sight.
