My Ruger lcp 380 came with a 7 round magazine. See picture. The ruger extension allows you to have 7 rounds. This extension doesn't work with this. If you use it it only allows for 5 rounds. Also will not lock in place. I'd rather have the 7 rounds. Sadly have to return

I liked everything except one thing. The hole that the pin goes into is about twice the size it should be but I’m using original clip and that may be for compatibility with other clip manufacturers. I’m not upset about it until you get down to your last bullets when the spring isn’t pushing down on the base which will cause the grip extension itself to easily shift back and forth in the directions of trigger or hammer. When I installed it of course had I no bullets in the clip and instantly I noticed the jiggle but it’s not a problem with a loaded clip. The tension causes friction where you then have to very intentionally shift it, yet it will shift still even with a full clip when you push hard enough so that being said you go ahead and form your own opinion and purchase or not. I’m glad I spent the 9 bucks on it. My hand size fits large gloves from like Lowe’s or Walmart so to give you size comparison I don’t have super large or medium hands, simply large and the extension fits every finger absolutely perfectly. Holding my Ruger LCP .380 is nothing but comfortable now (with a loaded clip).

The extension I received fit my LCP magazine well, and provided just the right amount of grip for me to get my pinky to grip onto the gun. It works very well, and is very sturdy, but has a little bit of play back and forth. Probably not a big deal. I ultimately decided not to use the extensions with my gun, since I primarily pocket carry, but if you carry in a holster, it won't snag at all.

This right here is the answer to your problem. Easy to install on any OEM or Aftermarket Magazine. Just throws this bad-boy on and see how much more comfortable that tiny light carry can get. If you're at the range noticing that You're pulling to the right or left this might help you out. Works great for My LCP II with the OEM Magazine. Being able to get Your whole hand on a firearm helps with the intermittent hand shake and overall control.
