This seems to be an exact replacement for my worn out Hoover central vacuum system brush. The problem is that they should be replaced in pairs, and this turned out to be a single brush. It appeared from the description as well as other reviews that it should be a pair. I can't think of a situation where you would only buy one. If your shoes wore out would you buy only one as a replacement? Had to order a second and am waiting for it to arrive. I paid the extra $.99 for faster shipping on the first order, now having to do that again. So if I saved a couple of bucks on the price, I lost it waiting on two deliveries in order to complete my repair job.
