Exactly what I expected and if tensioned correctly will last 3-5 years in the desert heat. These sails are critical for comfort during the Phoenix summers.I have four of them throughout the RV gate, and backyard. Recommend taking down during the monsoon season as that is how the last three were torn.

We bought this to cover my daughters play area and oh my gosh! This arizona heat and sun is brutal but having this hung up over her play area really does make a difference when we want to be outside in the shade!

I am undecided how I feel about the sail. It is definitely a good price. It appears reasonable, initial quality. The two problems I have with the sail itself, it appears that the curves they cut into the sail are excessively short. I ordered a 14x14. I set my attachment points 16x16 so I can stretch it nice and tight. The ends are at 14x14+ feet, but the middle of the sail is barely 11 feet across. Much online research says you should be losing 5-7% of the sail size, which should make this sail about 13 feet across, not 11.The second issue I have is that it has started stretching within hours after hanging it and it continues to stretch daily. I am almost out of turnbuckle on two ends. Again, I read it may need to be re-tightened after a month.I emailed (and called) Amgo numerous times and they do not respond. I have time in my return window so I am going to evaluate in that timeframe and update the review. I also plan to document my install with pics in this review to help people that may have had the questions I did where I could not find answers....Update (lengthy install details): I finalized the sail and am very pleased with the overall results. I am going to detail my install as I have some unique constraints that I could not find any details on anywhere. First, two of my attachment points were on the house and it was fixed at 7 feet in height for both. I was concerned about elevating the other 2 corners and creating a situation where rain runs toward the house. We get alot of summer monsoons. I decided to set the perimeter at 16 feet, despite being told you could do 15 feet. In my opinion, its proper to have a turnbuckle at all 4 corners to tweek as needed. This requires more than 15 feet, 16 feet is perfect for a 14 foot sail. I took my soffit down and installed 4x4 between trusses with 4 inch deck screws securing the truss 2x4 to the 4x4 and screwed 8 inch SS eye bolts into the 4x4. This worked out good. On the other ends, I sank wood 6x6x12 and dug a 20x20" hole 4 feet deep. I then mixed 320 pounds of concrete for each post. I intended to set the posts at a 5 degree angle, but for various reasons, I ended up setting them level. I dont believe the tension from this sail is going to bow these 6x6 as installed. Time will tell. Once I had the two house points attached, I used ratchet straps temporarily on the post connections to play around with various heights until I determined what I wanted (you can see with the straps not pulled tight enough, it still was sagging in the center). I set one end at the top post - 8 feet and the other end at 7ish feet to create a foot of slope/twist. This then allowed the sail to be pulled perfectly taught. It had sagged in the middle before with the rachet straps. IT IS POSSIBLE TO PULL THIS PERFECTLY FLAT. There is no lower point under the sail anywhere than 7 feet - its as flat as a pancake. I was apprehensive to put enough tension to pull flat. The end result is exactly the ideal setup I was hoping for.If this sail holds up, I would/will buy another one.

Purchased this to extend over our patio. Creates excellent shade but allows a breeze. No issues in the wind. My husband anchored to the house and two cedar beams he sunk 4ft deep. We connect with eye screws and carabeaners We live in Kansas so wind is a thing here. We don’t leave it up over night just so we aren’t dealing with it if a storm rolls through but it’s easy to put up with a step ladder and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

This is the highest of 5 sails we have. It's a SOB getting the extension ladder out to take it down and we had just bought this before Ian came for us. It was cheap enough I was willing to risk it and LOW AND BEHOLD, even though it was a tropical storm by the time it got here, this mother effer lifted and floated it's heart out but stayed intact. Let me add I used GOOD ROPE, not the crap they ship with it. I can't remember if this one came with any, just noting.
