Tips:
😊 Screen replacement parts are very fragile products that must be carefully and gently opened and installed. Be careful not to press it against the edges or corners of the screen. It is easy to break.

I managed to destroy the LCD on my iPad mini 4 while trying to replace the battery even though I followed the instructions on ifixit exactly. So my choice was either trash the entire iPad, or invest more and try and fix my own damage. So I took a chance on this LCD replacement despite the mixed reviews.After installing, this replacement screen works fine and it is hard to tell the difference between the original and this. Maybe not quite as bright, and right at the bottom by the LED backlights is a slight band of yellowish tint when looking at the white boot screen. But I really can't complain. I didn't install the included protective screen yet since I have a cover.I used the adhesive that came with the ifixit battery replacement kit. This LCD does include the sleep/wake sensor. Hardest part was transferring over the home button. Had to use new adhesive to get it mounted at just the right height offset so it clicks perfectly. A bit nerve wracking doing the install, but it was worth it in the end.

The replacement screen came in a well packaged box to prevent it from any damage. After installation everything was functional there was no lagging of any sort. I’ve seen some reviews about the product quality being bad but that is not the case with me, everything was good. Hopefully I won’t need to buy it a second time, but if the screen cracks again then I’ll definitely be back for another one.
