Tare Weighing:

1.Place the container on the hook.

2.When the weight indication is stable and locked, press “TARE” key to deduct the weight value of the container.(Now “0” is displayed)

3.Place an object in the container, the scale will show the net weight value of the object.

Note:

1.When power on the scale, please ensure to keep it in an upright position.

2.The scale will keep the weighing unit after its last power off.

3.To ensure the accuracy, make sure to grip the handle tightly when weighing, and avoid interfering with any other part of the device or item being weighed.

4.Avoid any heavy impacts or rough treatment to the device.

5.Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any chemical/abrasive cleaning agents to clean the scale.

6.Please remove the batteries if the scale is not to being used for a long time.

Operation:

1.Hang the scale in an upright position.

2.Press “ON/OFF” key to power on and wait for thedisplay to read “0”.

3.Press “MODE” key to select the desired weighing unit.

4.Place the object on the hook.

5.Lift the scale gently. Make sure the scale is vertical and balanced. A reading will be shown on the LcD display.

6.Wait for the weight reading to stop and stabilize and the data will automatically lock.

I helped run a fishing derby for the Scouts last year and this was the scale we used to weigh every fish (or fish like thing brought in). The scouts ran with it and had no issues using it. Worth the price.

Last yr we didn't have a fish scale. So we always wondered how big our biggest catches were...now well know. Love the clamp grips that come with it. It'll help hold the fish if you cant hang the fish from the hook. Pretty accurate to lol

This thing is perfect, looks good, feels good and is dead accurate, I tested with a 2.5 lb Weight and it was dead on.I haven't caught any fish cus I suck but wanted a scale anyways so I'm sure it'll be nice one day. As of now the grip does hold weight and will forsure hold a fishes lip and the scale hook clips onto the grip so no hooking thru gill, straight to lip nice and easy. Great bang for buck.
