I love these little but mighty bright lights. I used these in the little hallway in our garage. There was only one light by the main door of our garage and we did not have another switch at the end to turn it off at the end of the night. These were very functional and fit perfectly because we did not need to switch anything on or off since they were batter powered and turned on by sensor. We love these! the lights were of good quality and are pretty strong, I accidentally dropped them a few time and nothing broke. They were also easy to install on our walls.

Work great in our garage hallway. They come on exactly when needed and provide nice light to the floor. Quality lights and very easy to install. Size is nice, not too big, just right for the area. Also, seems well made.

I bought these to replace a motion sensor light in the bathroom for middle of the night pit stops. The old one worked great but gave out and not longer is available. I had to return this because it kept coming unstuck and falling. This sensor is much heavier than the one I previously used and, at least in my opinion, is too heavy for the four little adhesive tabs used to place it. Also, as others have mentioned, getting the back open to remove/replace the batteries is nearly impossible. I had to return it with nearly new batteries because I just couldn’t get the back off. Other than that, it works as advertised. The light was bright and came on when expected.

In 2020 I ordered 6 similar motion sensor/battery operated light units. That brand no longer exists, thus I went to these units. In comparrison to my prior lights (all but 1 are still in opration), I like how they are as bright but use 3 AAA instead of 4 AA batteries. My prior lights illuminate 2 staircases in my home. These newer ones will be floor mounted at bed & desk legs as "midnight run" walkway lights.My only issue with the new lights is that 2 of them seem to randomly illuminate at night for no apparent reason. I have moved them around to see if the problem was location-specific. It is not. It is the quirk of the light unit itself. That said, it is not enough of an issue for me to send them back. I will most likely order more; and at that time I will consider moving the "offenders" to less noticable locations.

We have 16 steps to get from 2nd floor down. I don’t turn on lights in morning to not disturb people sleeping. As a senior, falling should be avoided. These sensor lights were perfect solution they are easy to place ( also, relatively easy to remove and relocate in finding correct placement) we bought 1st 3 in 3020 and shortly after bought 3 more.After 5 years 1 unit failed - proving durabilityHighly recommend these

I had originally given my review 2 stars. And have now modified it to 5 stars (update on15MAY to original review on 08MAY). The company representative was very helpful (and speedy) in replacing the item that was defective in the description I first submitted (That review is at the end of this one.). The company responded quickly to my first review as I described the fault in the device. So. Exceptional Customer Service.Now the product. These are the most excellent lights. Highly reactive and bright. I use them in stairwells and closets. This way, I can navigate my stairs without having to turn on a light when I have something in my hands. Think, carrying a child to bed on this one. I also can dig out gloves, scarves, hats and boots from a closet during winter and replace them easily.I have modified the backing for placement on the wall. Using a screw, I mount a large washer to the wall and superglue magnetic tape to the back of the light mounting plate. This way I can easily remove the whole device, replace the batteries and remount the device. I cycle rechargeable batteries through my motion detecting light system. It involves about 10 lights. For fun, I recharge the batteries using a large battery I charge from solar panels, so once the capital purchase has been made, the operation of the motion detecting light system has no costs. I have been operating this system for about 10 years now, while adding lights where needed. I highly recommend these lights as they have shown to be the brightest; containing 3 LED lights within a device purchased to date.So far I have ordered 2 packages of 3. The first set of 3 work great. Sensitive to motion, bright and an elegant addition to the stairs. The second set of 3, has a problem with one of them. Once the light turns on, it remains on, despite placing where there is no motion and monitoring it's turn off time. Which never happens, up to 15 minutes. I also place it in the direct sun while the light is on. The light still remains on. However, removal of a battery to turn it off and replacing the battery while in direct sun, the light remains off. Once I move the product into the darkness. the light comes on and remains that way (for several minutes) when no motion is detected. For this most reasonable price I score it as 2 stars, because the performance of the light and battery is inconsequential to the motion detector and bright light sensor not functioning in 1 of 3. I don't know if it is worthwhile to return the set due to a single defect (out of 6, really). But it is frustrating that something like this would slip past QC. I am debating the next step for return, reimbursement.

For better or for worse, VERY sensitive. Some years ago I bought a similar product from Mr. Beams (no longer available). They were perfect, and after many years I needed to replace one. I discovered I was out of luck for Mr. Beams, and found these had many favourable reviews.The light I replaced is in my basement, a little less than 7' off the floor. Old one worked great, and best yet, the cat walking underneath didn't set it off. It never failed to light my way, but it didn't constantly go off because of the cat. A difference in size? I don't know but it worked like a charm.These go off everytime I, anyone else, or the cat goes by. After only a month or so, you'll begin to see the batteries begin to drain.Additionally, I took one to work to put under a shelf in our warehouse. It's up underneath, and even tucked up a little as they're thin, metal shelves with an edge dropping down. Walking towards the shelf, the sensor is able to pick up the motion of your feet, even at an extreme angle, and goes off from about 8' - 9' away. Again, the batteries are already showing signs of weakage.From the reviews, little of this seems to affect most people. If that's the case, then these are very good lights. They're bright, sensitive, and relatively small (about a 1/4" smaller W & L than the Mr. Beams). The adhesive isn't very good, but can be remedied with some 3M double sided tape.
