This is a very nice looking gearbox, the finish is excellent. The color, however, is a bit unusual and probably won't match any other blue parts you have, as it's more of a midnight or royal blue. At first the gearbox was a bit noisy, but turned smoothly, but after a couple batteries the noise has gone down some as the gears have mated.I did notice there's no thread stops, so you'll want to do one side partially, then the other, and work each other a turn at a time.Overall though, as long as the color doesn't bother you, I can recommend it.

I am planning on using this for a ground up SCX10 build.It is a nice sealed gear box with all ball bearings.It rotates nice and smooth with the exception of some gear noise from inside the gearbox.The skid plate is a nicely machined piece of plastic.The suspension control arm mounting holes for the inner arms are threaded all the way through, there is no center stop to prevent the mounting set screw of one side from being over driven into the area where the other side needs to go as well.Over all a nice gear box, I will just need to keep the different ratios for the output shafts in mind when purchasing axles.
