Buttery smooth and durable. But lots of gear noise at speeds.

First of all, the metal spur gear was quite oblong and noisy as metal on metal spur/pinions tend to be. I replaced the spur with a plastic Axial spur and all good. This transmission is your basic AX10 three gear and it's been pretty good so far. Tighten the slipper all the way and it won't slip. Make sure you remove all the screws and use blue loctite on them.
